What's goin on?

I know....I slack.
So I guess we'll update.
My best friend, Robyn, invited Rob and I up north to attend the network premiere party for "Sister Wives", so Kai stayed with my mom and Rob's mom. It was fun and kind of nice to get away for a minute. Even though Rob and I kept saying "I miss baby Kai!" And I felt horrible for Carolyn (Rob's mom) because Kai normally sleeps through the night. He'll go down at around 9-9:30 and wake up around 8 or 9 am. Well, not the night at their house! He wouldn't go down until about 10:30, then woke up at 2:30 and wouldn't go back to sleep until 4:30, then woke around 8. I felt so bad. I know its because he was out of his element, but even times we've taken him out of town, he'll sleep pretty good.

Kai has been walking so much better. Especially the last couple of days, he'll walk into the kitchen and back to the living room without falling. The other day he pointed at a picture of a dog and said "wooo-ooo-oooo-oooo-oooo" over and over. We kind of weren't paying attention for a minute, then realized he was making a dog sound. It was so cute! If we see any dogs while we are on a walk, he gets so excited. I wish we could have a dog, but right now we just don't have the time to train one and deal with all that goes with it.

Kai has also started liking regular food a lot more. Which I am glad for, maybe we'll start transitioning his milk from the bottle to a sippy cup now. We do juice in a sippy, but he hasn't been interested when there is milk in it. He LOVES crackers, but we can only give him one at a time, because he'll shove them all in his mouth at once.

Kai babbles on quite a bit now, and I can tell he tries to say a lot of words. He loves to dance and LOVES "Yo Gabba Gabba"! I wish we could afford to take him to the live show, he'd love it! At first I thought "Yo Gabba Gabba" was a cracked out show, but the fact that it grabs his interest so much has made me pay attention more. And I realized it does teach a lot of good things, so I don't mind. He's always "GO GO GO" and when we turn on "Yo Gabba Gabba" he will sit and watch the whole thing. One thing I really love lately, is if I sit on the floor, Kai will come over and sit on my lap, I love it! Its so cute. And since he won't hold still long enough to cuddle, I get to use this as cuddle time! He also LOVES to be read to! I'm grateful for that. He'll usually be calm enough for you to read to him, and when you're done, he sometimes gets upset until you start reading again. Too cute.

And Kai always has been, and always will be a cute little poser! :P
